Background
Background VHH or Nanobody is the next generation monoclonal antibody, whichn is a Single domain antibody (sdAb) reserving only one single antigen recognizing domain from camelid heavy chain antibody. With size of only ~ 15 kDa, Nanobody dispay numerous advantages over conventional antibody and it's derivatives, such as higher tissue penetration capability, more accessible to hidden epitopes, higher stability(thermal and pH resistant), solubility (aggregation avoidance) and binding affinity. The Anti-goat IgG Nanobody/VHH is specifically designed to Fc region of goat IgG specifically. This monovalent, recombinant single-domain antibody is derived from the variable region of the heavy chain of Alpaca pacos. Based on immunoelectrophoresis and ELISA assays, the Fc region of goat IgG Nanobody/VHH demonstrates selective reactivity with Fc region of goat IgG specifically, with no detectable cross-reactivity to other antigens.
